All of our teachers are passionate about music and the development of children.

They create a fun, informal, social setting that spurs engagement and supports each child's musical development.

Linda holds M.A. and Ed.M in Music and Music Education from Columbia University. Her passion involves teaching, singing, and making music to children of all ages. She completed her Music Together® training at Music Together headquarters in Princeton, NJ.

Linda has been a preschool and elementary music teacher since 2002, and currently teaches music at a Montessori school in Ithaca, NY. She is also Orff Level I, II, and III certified. Linda received her Kodaly Level I Teacher certification at NYU and Dalcroze training in NYC.

Linda lives in Ithaca and enjoys baking and outdoor activities. She is thrilled to bring the joy and beauty of music to the families living in the Ithaca Community.

Zachary is a devoted performer and educator. He earned a M.M. in Performance and Literature at the Eastman School of Music. Zachary began cello studies at the age of 8. He was awarded Music Together Certification Level 1 in April 2010.

In 2005, Zachary served as Assistant Principal of the Lake Placid Sinfonietta. Recently, he has been a substitute cellist for the Symphony in C and Lancaster Symphony. Zachary has also held a Fellowship at the Aspen Music Festival, where he was a mentor for the Concert and Symphonic orchestras while playing with the Festival Orchestra under the baton of David Zinman and James Conlon.

Zachary is also a committed educator of young children. In addition to teaching Music Together family classes, he is currently on Faculty at Ithaca Talent Education and Hochstein School for Music and Dance.

Lorna is a devoted Music Together parent who has experienced the full curriculum as a parent and participant. Music Together families may know her from her many years in  Mixed Ages classes with daughters Vivian and Iris. She has also participated in our Babies, Big Kids, and Guitar for Grownups classes. Lorna is a registered Music Together teacher and completed her training at Music Together headquarters in Princeton, New Jersey.

Lorna trained in theater and dance at the Performing Arts School of Philadelphia and the Ballet Conservatory of Cape Cod. She was an Associate Artist with the Philadelphia Area Repertory Theater. She studied history at Wells College and art history at the Scuola Lorenzo de' Medici in Florence, Italy. 

Lorna lives in Ithaca with her multi-national family with roots in Scotland, western Canada, and the United States. She is excited to lead Music Together classes having witnessed her own children's growth within the Music Together community. She believes music-making has a profound impact on all of our lives!
