Jeffra Ruesink

Jeffra is the Director of Music Together of Ithaca and is thrilled to bring Music Together to Ithaca and the Southern Tier. Jeffra has been making music for as long as she can remember! She has over ten years experience singing and dancing with young children in and out of the classroom, and is a founding director of Music Together of Ithaca. She is a trained Montessorian, and was lead classroom teacher at the Elizabeth Ann Clune Montessori School where she now serves on the Board of Trustees. For many years, she has devoted herself to helping children make connections with the world through joyful experiences with music, dance, and the arts. Jeffra plays the guitar and the piano and dabbles in lots of other instruments from the accordion to the didgeridoo. She was awarded Music Together Certification Level I in August, 2010.

Some of her other interests include organic gardening, home cooking, and visual art. She relishes any chance to be in the natural environment and loves to ski, snowshoe, hike, paddle, sail, bike, swim, and forage for mushrooms. Jeffra lives in Ithaca with her husband, two musical sons, and their canine companions.
