About Our Center

Since the spring of 2009, Music Together of Ithaca has focused on bringing the joy of family music making to Ithaca and the Southern Tier. We opened our center with the goal of offering this well-loved curriculum in an area where it had not been offered before. We soon discovered how much demand there was for this "gold standard" of early childhood music programs! From our first semester offering just one Mixed Ages class, we have expanded our schedule to include many Mixed Ages classes each week, as well as an Intergenerational class at Bridges Cornell Heights, Babies for children eight months and younger, Big Kids for 5-, 6-, and 7-year olds, and Music Together Preschool at several local childcare centers.
